Hi, I'm Ignacio Wolf

My career has centered on a simple idea: using technology to solve business problems.

I began my education in Systems Engineering, but my real school was my first job. In 2021, I joined Thalamus SA as an Account Analyst, a functional role that positioned me exactly between client needs and technical solutions.

Day by day, I managed high-traffic platforms and saw where processes failed. I identified a key operational friction: a manual personnel loading process that took the team 4 hours daily. I decided to do something about it.

On my own initiative, and without anyone asking me, I started developing scripts in JavaScript and SQL. I managed to fully automate that process, reducing the time from 4 hours to just 1.

That was the confirmation of my vocation. Seeing the direct impact of a technical solution on the business drove me to intensively train as a Full Stack Developer.

Thalamus recognized my initiative and promoted me to the role of Full Stack Developer. There I could apply my new skills to complex projects, such as PWA applications (Conectados BAT) for thousands of users in 3 countries and international e-commerce platforms (MyGlo).

To continue growing, I sought a larger-scale challenge and joined Phinxlab as part of the MiEscuela team, the official educational management platform of the Buenos Aires City Government.

There, the scale is massive: more than 1,500 schools, 600,000 students, and a system that processes over 26 million monthly transactions. In that environment, I learned to design solutions that not only work but scale. I led the design and implementation of an attendance module, proposing an optimized data model that was validated by technical leaders for its efficiency.

• End-to-End Leadership (Livosur): I took on the challenge of digitizing the management of the Livosur Volleyball League from scratch. I replaced a chaotic Excel system with a comprehensive web platform. I developed the frontend (Next.js), backend (Node.js/PostgreSQL), and managed the infrastructure, delivering a solution now used by 78 clubs and over 8,500 players.
• Surgical Solutions (Pronova): I also collaborate as a freelancer for Pronova, a process consulting firm for the accounting and administrative sector. My role is to solve high-impact specific problems: I develop custom automations and integrate third-party APIs, such as WhatsApp, to streamline their workflows.

After a period working on the Rutter API with international teams, in September 2025 I returned to Thalamus SA as a Software Engineer. I came back with a much stronger skill set, with the experience of having handled government-scale projects and the autonomy of having built complete systems, ready to bring a new vision and improve processes from within.

My approach is simple: I don't just build software, I understand *why* I build it.
